A National Talent Scholarship holder from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)-Pusa, New Delhi. A graduate from the College of Agriculture, G.B.Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand, India with a 4-year technical Degree in Agriculture Science & Agronomy followed by an MBA(PGDBA). 

He has an in-depth understanding of Soil Science, Plant Biology, Plant Genetics, Insect Pest and Disease Management of Turfgrasses, and Fertilizer Scheduling for Sustainable Turfgrass Management. 

Other than having a strong Agronomic educational background he had an opportunity of working in turfgrass management with veterans of the turfgrass trade in India & abroad. He is an expert in maintaining high-end turfgrass surfaces for various sports pitches and has more than 18 years of practical experience in managing turfgrasses like Tif-way, Tif-dwarf, Tif-eagle, Zoysia, Mini-Verde, Cyanodon dactaylon, Bermuda-selection-1, Calcutta doob, Axonopus compressus, Stenotaphrum secundatum and cool season grasses like Rye-grass, Bentgrass and Fescues. 

Further, he has a thorough understanding of Turfgrass Machinery Maintenance, Turf Equipment Workshop Management, Staff Training, Irrigation System Management, Drainage Management in Sports Fields, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) preparation and planning for Sports facilities, Staff Work Manual Preparations, Turfgrass Facility Agronomic Audit etc. 

He also was involved in Golf Course construction projects, grow-in stages and pre-opening preparations of golf courses with regard to Golf Course Set-up and Golf Accessories planning and presentations.

Golf Course Set-Up, Tournament Preparations and Refereeing: He is a golf tournament administrator and referee, TARS certified from St. Andrews, R&A, Scotland and worked for IGU and PGTI events.

Certified Golf Course Rater: Certified Golf Course Rater with in depth understanding of Rating and Marking a course as per USGA and IGU guidelines.

He was also involved in golf course setup and agronomic preparation for some of the finest international tournaments like:

• BMW PGA CHAMPIONSHIP 2015 at Wentworth Golf Club, London, UK.  Worked with the European Tour team for tournament course preparation and set-up. 
• Hero Honda Indian Open, Hero Women’s Indian Open, Queen Sirikit Cup, SAIL Open, Panasonic Open, BILT Open, JOHNNIE WALKER CLASSIC- Golf Tournament, 2008’ Corporate golf tournament events of Mercedes& Audi etc.
